PREVENTIVE MEDICINE AND CLINICAL CARE
Preventive medicine physicians are supposed to be skilled in the clinical practice of health promotion and disease prevention. They must also be capable of understanding the evidence-based medicine in order to know about screening tests and what interventions are appropriate. Evidence-based medicine is a method for determining the content which involves evaluating the scientific evidence supporting a particular diagnostic test and decide if the evidence is sufficient to establish the efficiency and effectiveness of an intervention.
